ADVANCED APPROACHES IN FORMULATION DEVELOPMENT AND DRUG TARGETING,

Drug delivery technologies have witnessed sea changes in last five decades. Although conventional dosage forms, such as tablets and hard gelatin capsules composed of drugs with traditional excipients continue today, major progress has been achieved over recent years in the fields of controlled drug delivery and targeting. Success in these areas is important both to improve the bio performance and efficiency of drug delivery system and to deal with recent trends in drug discovery.

Research related to the development of novel drug delivery system is nowadays highly preferred and fascinating field of pharmaceutical world. It has crossed the infancy period and now touching height of growths from the Pharmacy point of view. It is now an unavoidable requirement being experienced by the Pharmaceutical industries as well as the academicians particularly in content of Indian scenario.

In this regard, the objective of the proposed symposium is to disseminate and exchange the state-of-the-art knowledge in the field of Pharmaceutical formulations and drug targeting. Distinguished speakers will share their innovative perspectives and current research and development progress in the field of Pharmaceutical technology, Novel drug delivery system, Nanotechnology and Regulatory affairs which will provide an in depth overview of the newest strategies and achievements in the drug delivery and targeting field.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Abstracts should not exceed 250 words giving a brief introduction to the Project, Experimental work done, Results & Discussion and Conclusion. Abstract should be submitted through email and compact disk (CD) in Microsoft Word with Times New Roman font size: 12, Title in Bold.

Name of the presenting author should be indicated by asterik. Area allotted for each poster will be 1 X 1 Mts. Prizes will be awarded for the best posters.
