RESEARCH PROJECTS:-
1) Research Project worth Rs. 21Lakhs has been sanctioned by the Department of Science and Technology to the collaborative project with the Bio-Technology Department of PSG Technology. The Chief investigator is Dr. M. Ramanathan, Professor o Pharmacology of this college.

2) M.Pharm students [Mr.K. Velayutham & Mr.C. Praveen] got a student project worth Rs. 5000/- from The T.N. State council for science and Technology, Chennai. Mr. V. Sankar, Assistant Professor is the Research Supervisor for the work entitled “Targeting Salbutamol to Lungs through Niosomes”.

3) Some Phytochemical toxicological Pharmacological invertigation of Aegle Marmelos for a new product funded by Indian Council of Forestry Research and Edcation. The amount sanctioned is Rs. 13.43 lakhs. Co-Principal Investigator for the project is Dr. M. Ramanathan

RESEARCH HIGHLIGHS:-

• Around fifty research papers presented in various national and international conferences. Four of our faculty has participated in conferences abroad.
• Around fifteen research articles published in peer reviewed national and international journals.
• Patent filed for composition of Herbal Ant-repellent
• Recognized as a scientific and industrial research organization by the Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi.
• Signed MOU with Central Leather Research Institute, Chennai, Arya vaidya nilayam, Madurai, to carry out collaborative research work.
• Signed MOU with Arya Vaidya Nilayam, Madurai for Herbal and Ayurvedic Research Programme.
• The apex body of the College is the PSG & Son’s Charities have signed MOU with the following foreign Universities for Collaborative Research, faculty and students exchange programme.
